Speak Up!
Creating A Public Service Announcement
Overview: Over the past few weeks, you and your classmates have been reading Speak. As we have discussed, one of the main themes of this novel is about speaking up about a topic that may be uncomfortable to let others know about. For this assignment, you and a partner (or alone if you want) will choose a topic from a list provided to create a public service announcement. The topic will be an issue teens tend to encounter. This public service announcement will be an informative presentation about your topic and will offer solutions to teenagers who are struggling with this particular issue.
